Mineral:Sphalerite and Galena over Fluorite
Locality:Denton Mine, Harris Creek District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Lustrous dark black sphalerite crystals to 20 mm over transparent yellow fluorite and gray-metallic galena. The sphalerite crystals exhibit repeated twinning resulting in complex shapes. There is a partial crack caused post-crystallization deformation.
Overall Size:12x9x5 cm
