Description:Large black octahedral spinel crystals to 25 mm with prismatic brown-green diopside crystals to 20 mm on diopside-rich matrix. These spinel crystals have flat octahedral faces with dodecahedral edge faces that make the edges appear rounded. Ex. Dave Wellbrock collection M1539, originally acquired from Carter Rich in August 1997
