Mineral:Amesite-2H var. Chromamesite
Locality:Saranovskoye Mine, Sarany, Permskaya Oblast', Ural Mountains, Russia
Description:Plate completely covered with columnar translucent purple chrome-rich amesite crystals to 12 mm long with remnants of white calcite that was dissolved to expose the amesite crystals. The bottom was sawn flat to remove matrix without damage.
