Mineral:Strontianite on Fluorite with Sphalerite
Locality:Friarfold Vein, Hard Level, Old Gang, Swaledale, North Yorkshire, England
Description:Lustrous transparent white strontianite crystals to 5 mm on lustrous transparent pale-gray cubic fluorite crystals to 8 mm with minor translucent brown sphalerite crystals to 1 mm around the edges. The strontianite fluoresces orange under SW UV. Collected in August 2006
