Locality:Sierra de Cruces, east of Laguna de Jaco, near Hercules, Coahuila, Mexico
Description:Lustrous greenish-yellow doubly-terminated 32 mm vesuvianite crystal with lustrous translucent purplish-gray dodecahedral grossular garnet crystals to 10 mm around the sides. The vesuvianite crystal has pitted surfaces on some faces. Ex. B. Gaber collection #531; ex. Paul Pohwat collection #689 (Mineral Collection Manager at Smithsonian)
