Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:Lustrous dark-red octahedral cuprite crystals to 7 mm on transparent-to-translucent colorless rhombohedral calcite crystals to 10 mm. The cuprite crystal exhibits red transparency when illuminated from the rear.
