Mineral:Quartz var. Amethyst with Hematite inclusions
Locality:Orange River, Northern Cape Province, South Africa
Description:Two lustrous transparent purple amethyst quartz crystals with pitted faces and red-brown hematite inclusions just beneath the surfaces of the crystals. When illuminated from the rear the crystals show deep royal-purple color with pale purple outer zones.
Overall Size:8x5x5 cm
Crystals:50-55 mm
