Locality:N'Chwaning II Mine, Kalahari Manganese Field, Northern Cape Province, South Africa (Type Locality for Olmiite)
Description:Distinct individual translucent pink olmiite crystals to 12 mm on white oyelite crystals in hemispherical aggregates to 1.5 mm with scattered lustrous transparent colorless calcite crystals to 2 mm. The olmiite crystals have a thin white coating.
