Locality:Moat Mountain, west of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Doubly-terminated transparent smoky quartz crystals with lustrous faces that have suture patterns indicating they are twinned following the Dauphine Law of quartz twinning. Internally the smoky quartz crystal is nearly flawless with silky terminations. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s.
