Mineral:	Quartz var. Smoky Quartz (Dauphiné-law twinned)
Locality:	Moat Mountain, west of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:	Transparent smoky quartz crystal with lustrous faces that have suture patterns indicating it is twinned following the Dauphine Law of quartz twinning. Internally the smoky quartz crystal is nearly flawless with silky zone at the termination. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s.
