Locality:Tafelkop, Goboboseb Mountains, 43 km west of Brandberg Mountain, Erongo region, Namibia
Description:Scepter-shaped formation of a larger lustrous transparent purple 50 mm amethyst crystal overgrown in epitactic orientation on a smaller 60 mm doubly-terminated milky quartz crystal. The purple amethyst color is deepest in the terminations.
