Locality:Buenópolis, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Description:Lustrous translucent brown monazite crystals that are interpenetrant-twinned and fully crystallized on all faces. The surfaces of the monazite crystals are pitted, but under magnification the pitting is seen to be lined with lustrous crystal faces.
