Mineral:Gahnite with Muscovite and Fluorapatite in Albite
Locality:Hollister Quarry, South Glastonbury, Hartford County, Connecticut
Description:Dark-green gahnite crystals to 2 mm with platy muscovite mica crystals to 7 mm in white albite with translucent gray fluorapatite crystals to 3 mm (fluoresce yellow in UV). Several of the gahnite crystals show they are internally transparent under 20x. Collected October 7, 1989
