Description:Lustrous translucent dark-red elongated subparallel rutile crystals with no attached matrix. The rutile crystals have striated prism faces, with complex terminations, and show excellent red translucency when illuminated from the rear.. Ex. W. Frech (1913-1998) collection #1076
