Mineral:Grossular Garnet over Calcite
Locality:Handan, Hebei, China
Description:Rounded cluster of lustrous transparent yellow-brown grossular garnet crystals to 8 mm overgrown on a core of colorless calcite. The grossular garnet crystals are dodecahedral form with trapezohedral edge faces and have translucent core zones.
Overall Size:7.5x7.5x5.5 cm
