Locality:Coscuez Mine, Vasquez-Yacopi Mining District, Colombia
Description:Large transparent deep-green emerald crystal, the green gem variety of the mineral beryl, on translucent gray calcite crystals to 5 mm with metallic pyrite microcrystals. The emerald crystal has textured faces caused by natural etching (dissolution).
