Locality:Construction excavation at 207th Street and Broadway, New York, Manhattan Island, New York
Description:Banded layer of brown tourmaline crystals running through grainy gray Inwood Marble. These tourmaline crystals range from dravite (sodium-rich) to uvite (calcium-rich), often with a single crystal so should be labeled as dravite-uvite. Collected in November 2013
