Mineral:Azurite and Malachite on Dolomite
Locality:Main shaft on top of Great Orme, Llandudno, Conwy, Wales
Description:Hemispherical formations to 4 mm diameter of green malachite and blue azurite on brown rhombohedral dolomite crystals to 3 mm. The formations were probably all azurite at one time, then a few altered to malachite pseudomorphs after azurite.
