Mineral:Fluorite (twinned crystals with phantom-zoning)
Locality:Alston Moor, West Cumberland Iron Mining District, Cumbria, England
Description:Two interpenetrant-twinned cubic fluorite crystals with no matrix. The fluorite crystals have pale-yellow core zones, surrounded by pale-purple with internal phantom-growth zones of deeper purple color. Collected ca. 1890
Overall Size:4.5x3x2.5 cm
Crystals:25-27 mm
