Mineral:Fluorite on Sphalerite
Locality:Elmwood Mine, Carthage. Smith County, Tennessee
Description:Two transparent cubic fluorite crystals to 40 mm perched on top of lustrous translucent brown-black sphalerite crystals to 18 mm. The fluorite crystals have pale-yellow cores with purple-gray outer zones and fluoresce dull white under UV illumination.
Overall Size:9x9x7 cm
