Locality:south of Sandaré, Kayes Region, Mali
Description:Doubly-terminated yellow-green vesuvianite crystals with no matrix attached. The vesuvianite has a dark interior but appears yellow because of subsurface inclusions of a microscopic crystals. Originally misidentified as a garnet. Ex Jeff Weissman collection #403
