Locality:Houdaille Quarry, Montclair State University, Essex County, New Jersey
Description:Classic cluster of colorless quartz pseudomorphs after prismatic anhydrite crystals to 25 mm long. The anhydrite crystallized first, was coated with thin quartz layer, when the anhydrite dissolved smoky quartz crystals formed inside the hollow cavities.
