Locality:Fenghuang, Xiangxi, Hunan, China
Description:Interpenetrant-twinned translucent dark-red cinnabar crystals to 7 mm on translucent white dolomite crystals to 5 mm with minor yellow-metallic chalcopyrite microcrystals. The cinnabar crystals have a metallic-like surface luster caused by alteration.
