Mineral:Calcite on Calcite with Pyrite
Locality:Chenzhou, Hunan, China
Description:Thin, platy translucent colorless calcite crystals to 25 mm with tarnished bronze-colored pyrite crystals to 1 mm between the calcite plates. A second generation of calcite crystals to 10 mm grew on the edges of the platy calcite crystals.
