Mineral:Mottramite pseudomorphs after Cerussite
Locality:Stevenson-Bennett Mine, Organ Mountains, Doņa Ana County, New Mexico
Description:Yellow mottramite pseudomorphs after prismatic cerussite crystals with underlying translucent gray cerussite. The cerussite crystallized first, then was coated with mottramite microcrystals. The cerussite partially dissolved leaving hollow tubes.
Overall Size:6.5x3x2.5 cm
Crystals:0.5-5.0 mm pseudos
