| Description: | Lustrous transparent medium-smoky quartz crystals to 18 mm on brown microcline crystals to 4 mm. The smoky quartz crystals are twinned following the Dauphiné Law of quartz twinning, as indicated by S-faces face {2111} on adjacent comers of each crystal. Ex. Thomas A.
