Locality:Moat Mountain, west of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Doubly-terminated dark smoky quartz crystal with lustrous crystal faces that have suture patterns indicating that it is twinned following the Dauphiné Law of quartz twinning. The rough surface areas are actually complex crystallization patterns. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s.
