Description:Lustrous transparent colorless calcite crystals covering one face of a thin plate. The calcite crystals are compound scalenohedral crystals overgrown with parallel rhombohedrons. Note the rear label incorrectly identifies the crystals as dolomite. Ex. Mort Metersky collection #Ca-99, director of International Calcite Collectors Association, originally acquired in 1959
