Mineral:Calcite scepter-shaped formation coated with Quartz
Locality:Planalto, Alto Uruguai, Brazil
Description:Scepter-shaped formation (wider cap on the end of a narrower stem) of translucent colorless calcite crystals coated on the stem with colorless quartz crystals to 1 mm. The calcite crystals are hexagonal form with rhombohedral termination. Ex. Mort Metersky collection
