Description: | Lustrous transparent golden-yellow scalenohedral calcite crystals to 15 mm on translucent pale-green prehnite crystal crusts over gray basalt. The calcite crystals have scale-like growth patterns on the faces and fluoresce white under SW UV illumination. Ex. Mort Metersky collection, collected in 1984 |
