Locality:Agrigento District (Girgenti), Sicily, Italy
Description:Lustrous transparent vivid-yellow sulfur crystals to 18 mm on translucent white aragonite crystals to 3 mm. The sulfur crystals exhibit double-refraction similar to calcite. The aragonite fluoresces white under SW UV illumination, and phosphoresces. Ex. Mort Metersky collection, purchased in 1974 in Catania, Sicily
