Description: | Triangular cavity that formed in the spaces between pillow basalts lined with lustrous translucent pale-gray quartz crystals. The outer surfaces of the quartz pocket are porous where they formed over a mineral that later dissolved. Ex. Irving Horowitz collection #2951, collected in 1987 |
