Description: | Heavy mass of crystallized black-brown hematite in hemispherical formations to 20 mm that were called Kidney-ore by the local miners because they looked like kidneys. The hematite crystals are in concentric layers up to 10 mm thick. Ex. Irving Horowitz collection #3022 |
