Mineral:Lepidolite-Muscovite with Elbaite Tourmaline
Locality:Nuristan, Afghanistan
Description:Unusual formation of parallel gray lepidolite-muscovite mica crystals to 20 mm with lustrous transparent green elbaite tourmaline crystals to 10 mm on one side. The mica crystals were labeled as lepidolite, but the color is typical of muscovite.
