Description: | Old specimen of translucent vivid-pink rhodonite crystals on gray matrix. The rhodonite crystals are in hemispherical aggregates and the radiating internal structure of the formations are visible on the exposed edges. This is definitely rhodonite (not rhodochrosite as some dealers mistakenly label them). It shows no reaction to hydrochloric acid. |
