Mineral:Fluorite (interpenetrant-twinned crystals)
Locality:Hilton Mine, Scordale, Middle Level, 4 km NE of Hilton, Cumbria, England
Description:Two interpenetrant-twinned transparent yellow cubic fluorite crystals with no matrix on the bottom. The fluorite crystals have vivid yellow color, not like the pale yellow fluorite that is commonly found at this mine. Fluoresces under SW UV illumination.
