Locality:Novo Horizonte, Bahia, Brazil
Description:Lustrous yellow-metallic rutile crystals to 22 mm that grew in epitactic orientation from a central gray-metallic hematite crystal on transparent smoky quartz. The rutile is in four groups at 60° because of the epitaxial relationship to the hematite. Collected ca. 1985
