Locality:Hanover #2 Mine, Hanover District, Grant County, New Mexico
Description:Two circular nodules of sparkling blue azurite crystals on brown clay. When viewed under magnification distinct translucent blue azurite crystals are visible in spherical aggregates to 2 mm diameter. Ex. Morse collection. Matrix is water-soluble clay -- do not soak in water.
Overall Size:4x3.5x2.5 cm
Crystals:0.5-2.0 mm
