Locality:Sierra de Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico
Description:Lustrous translucent calcite crystals with microscopic red-brown hematite inclusions over white calcite. The calcite crystals are tapered hexagonal form with pyramidal terminations that were optimistically misidentified as pseudomorphs after vanadinite. Ex. Mort Metersky collection; originally acquired in 1994
