Mineral:Stilbite and Heulandite over Quartz pseudomorphs after Anhydrite
Locality:Prospect Park Quarry, Prospect Park, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous translucent brown stilbite crystals to 12 mm with many smaller pearly brown heulandite crystals to 3 mm over quartz pseudomorphs after anhydrite crystals to 18 mm. The label optimistically listed native silver, but it is only a sulfide. Ex. St. Lawrence University Collection; ex. Howard E. Moore (1926-2011)
