Locality:Prospect Park Quarry, Prospect Park, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystal pseudomorphs after bladed anhydrite crystals to 45 mm. The anhydrite crystallized first, was overgrown with quartz crystals, then the anhydrite dissolved leaving quartz shaped like anhydrite. Ex. St. Lawrence University Collection; ex. Howard E. Moore (1926-2011)
