Locality:Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Description:Large transparent wine-red garnet crystal with minor gray microcline. Both spessartine and almandine garnets occur here; testing is required to determine species. The garnet crystal is dodecahedral form and has fine crystallization patterns on the faces.
