Description:Lustrous transparent Herkimer Diamond crystals, the doubly-terminated variety of quartz crystals found in the region around Herkimer, New York, in a tight cavity in brown dolostone. One outer face of the big Herkimer Diamond contacted the cavity wall. Ex. D. Miller collection #M1565, collected in 2011
