Mineral:Calcite-Aragonite
Locality:Chihuahua, Mexico
Description:Arborescent formation of lustrous brown-to-white translucent calcite-aragonite (probably both species are present) that fluoresce under SW UV illumination. Calcite and aragonite are both composed of calcium carbonate, but different crystal structures. Ex. D. Miller collection #M2625
