Description:Unusual crystal of translucent pink rubellite tourmaline, the pink gem variety of the mineral species elbaite, with overgrowth of chatoyant rubellite tourmaline crystals with green terminations. The chatoyancy is caused by the fibrous crystal structure. Ex. D. Miller collection #M2379
