Mineral:Calcite (twinned crystals) with Sphalerite inclusions
Locality:Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
Description:Lustrous transparent orange scalenohedral calcite crystals with brown sphalerite crystal to 2 mm included in the calcite. The calcite crystals are twinned on the C-axis with the twin plane distinctly visible. Has hard putty on bottom to sit upright. Collected ca. 1990
