Mineral:Rhodochrosite with Quartz and Sphalerite
Locality:Sweet Home Mine, Buckskin Gulch, Alma District, Park County, Colorado
Description:Elongated cluster of transparent red-pink rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystals to 18 mm with partial overgrowth of slender transparent quartz crystals to 6 mm with a few 2-3 mm black sphalerite crystals. The bottom was sawn flat to remove excess matrix.
Overall Size:8.5x3.7x2.2 cm
