Locality:Upper Montclair, Essex County, New Jersey
Description:Gray quartz microcrystals with many pseudomorphic cavities after prismatic anhydrite crystal to 25 mm. The anhydrite crystallized first, was coated with quartz, when the anhydrite crystals dissolved they left hollow cavities shaped like the crystals.
