Locality:Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
Description:Superb crystal of transparent orange calcite with exceptional internal clarity. The calcite is twinned on the C-axis with twin plane visible running though the formation. The calcite crystal is scalenohedral form with many secondary faces on the tip. Collected ca. 1990
