Mineral:Sphalerite var. Marmatite
Locality:Eagle Mine, Gilman, Colorado
Description:Large two-sided plate of lustrous black sphalerite var. marmatite crystals to 7 mm. Core of the plate is crystallized pyrite. Specimen edges are complete and undamaged except where attached to host rock on bottom. Very good specimen. Ex. Sahno Collection
